Veatch Program
The Veatch Program is the philanthropic arm of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation on Shelter Rock. The grant-making program funds over 180 community-based organizations working on campaigns to promote economic and social justice. I support all communications needs of the Veatch program — including authoring the organization’s annual report, creating promotional materials for events, developing and disseminating a monthly newsletter, and crafting presentation materials.
Annual Reports
Each December, I help the Veatch program conceive, develop, and promote an annual report summarizing the year’s major accomplishments. The resulting report — which I author and proofread — serves as a guiding document for the organization for the ensuing year.
Promotional Materials
To support Veatch’s programming throughout the year, I conceive and copyright promotional materials to increase awareness and bolster attendance. I work with designers to produce polished digital, hard copy, and video products.
Presentations
As a philanthropic organization, Veatch’s staff and board present the work of the foundation to various audiences throughout the year — I work with staff and board members to create effective, engaging, and polished presentations.
